CURRENT OBSESSION. UKPOP. britain is currently on a serious ROLL with their music right now! it is a serious british invasion on my ipod & i love it! their top artists are ridiculously talented. & as a musician i feel compelled to say...way more talented than what we've got here in the US. with few exceptions, our "pop stars" are auto tuned pretty faces with catchy songs without a message.
the three artists i'm going to talk about are all ex contestants of the "x factor: uk"...only one of the three actually won their season but all three are amazing & growing more & more each day. from more known to least known here in the US....here we go:

OH GIRLS! we all know them. i am not going to lie...i tried to not love them but i couldn't help it. they are ONE DIRECTION. - the reason i tried to stay away from them was because i really thought they were just another boy band. not really talented & famous because they were cute. but after getting into other UKpop artists i gave them a shot. they are actually really good & i was pleasantly surprised!


MY GIRL! she started my UKpop obsession to be honest. she was in the same season of "x factor" with the 1D boys. CHER LLOYD! this girl is just swag. yea. i hate that word but she doesn't have it. she just is. hahaha. i'm so proud that she is slowly but surely coming into the US. she's got serious rapper chops that have made me come out of my shell as a rapper. but that's just another story. here's her second single in the US:


these girls have so much of my heart it's abnormal. all i want is for them to break to the US already & i am so happy i can say i was their fan before they came. LITTLE MIX! they are the first group to ever win "x factor" & they very much deserve it. they are flawless. everything about them just makes me happy. & i can seriously go on for hours. they're album is out in 12 days & i will definitely be buying my copy!

ootd! running on four!

WOW. long time! school has been kicking my butt lately, i have been running on four hours of sleep for the past few days...hence the name of the ootd! lol. but recently i've been extra fashion obsessed. here is yesterday's outfit which i really loved! :)
